This was particularly difficult to paint, and took almost a year to complete! Jay Percy spent this point in her life experiencing a great deal of indecision, which reflected in the process:

After every bad spell, follow release and naturally, growth. Such is the nature of the Universe; creation of one thing is the result of the destruction of another. Whether gardens grow from the decomposed matter that once thrived, or an old version of the self disappears as we step closer into our most enriched selves, these moments can provide catharsis and inspiration.
