Intuitive art... It's wonderfully relaxing and really has the power to put you back in touch with yourself. In my last post, I wrote about the beauty of freeing yourself from perfection and allowing intuition to lead the way in the art making process.
It's such a brilliant releasing experience that allows me to tap into my inner creativity, whilst creating something truly meaningful.
I really want to bring this to my community. I'm a true believer that anyone can create art, sometimes you just need the nudge to feel safe enough to create. I'm over the moon announcing that I'll be holding a space for women that combines the benefits of intuitive painting with the healing properties of cacao in a Cacoa Ceremony. I wanted to create a paint and sip that felt a little more mellow, and significantly less boozy. The cacao is a perfect plant medicine to tap into your highest self and create from your soul.
The class will be focused on tapping into that same inner creativity that I found when I let my intuition guide my art making process... All alongside like minded soul sisters.
The artist seeks contact with his intuitive sense of the gods, but in order to create his work, he cannot stay in this seductive and incorporeal realm. We'll be working with cacao to help us connect with our heart and sacral chakra and our intuition, and then we'll be channeling that same beautiful energy into our paintings. The cacao ceremony will ease us into our inner calm so that we can let go of our self-judgement and let loose with our inner creative Goddesses.
The class will be held in the beautifully sacred space of Neter Ma'at in Brixton with mellow music and candles to create a calming and meditative space.
